Privacy Policy: Tech Stack Detector

Publisher: Orvix · Contact: media@autoquantix.com · Effective: October 27, 2026

What the extension reads. When you click Scan, it reads the page you're on:

It reads nothing until you click, unless you turn on the optional auto-scan feature (see below).

Where it is processed. All detection runs inside your browser, against a fingerprint file bundled with the extension. We do not collect, receive, store or sell the sites you visit, your scan results, or any personal information. There are no analytics, no tracking and no error reporting.

Network requests the extension makes.

Optional permissions. Bulk scan and auto-scan need "access to all sites". The extension asks for this only when you turn one of those features on, and you can revoke it at any time in your browser's extension settings. With auto-scan on, each page you open is scanned locally to show a technology count on the toolbar icon. Those results stay on your device.

Stored on your device. Your settings, your Pro status and (Pro) your scan history are kept in the browser's local extension storage. You can turn history off or clear it in the extension, and uninstalling removes all of it.

Payments. Pro is sold through ExtensionPay (extensionpay.com), which uses Stripe. Your email and payment details go to ExtensionPay and Stripe under their privacy policies; we never see your card number. The extension checks your paid status with ExtensionPay using a random identifier created for your installation (stored on your device). It sends no browsing data or scan results. In Firefox, the extension asks for your consent before it contacts ExtensionPay.

Children. Not directed to children under 13.

Changes. We will update this page and its effective date if this policy changes.
